Scenario-Based Evaluation
A dog daycare needed a formal training program for new employees. For part of this program, I designed a scenario-based experience that allowed trainees to practice decision making-skills, but in a low-risk environment.
This evaluation provides trainees exposure to situations and various action choices, leading to different consequences. At conclusion, there is a manager-led discussion of each scenario to better prepare the trainee for actual dog interactions.
I consulted with managers (SME's) while creating visual and text-based storyboards. Working with Articulate Storyline and its customization allows me to demonstrate how branching scenarios can be used to simulate real playground interactions. I used Adobe illustrator to change the character throughout the evaluation.

Client Communication Course
I assisted a dog training company that needed a course for group trainers. The manager explained that they were getting some complaints from clients that felt the trainers were sometimes rude.
After conducting the needs analysis, I suggested a course about soft skills. I really enjoyed working with this SME. We discussed common problems that trainers face and what this course could suggest. I always steered the conversation towards actionable steps by asking "What would that look like in the class setting?" I was able to get some good scenarios that I sprinkled throughout the course.
I added interactions using buttons and a knowledge check at the end.

Microlearning Course
A Pelvic Physical Therapist wanted a quick deliverable that explained their services to potential new clients. They wanted something more interactive than the brochures and infographs already created. I suggested a microlearning "course" where potential clients could go through each bullet point one at a time at their own pace.
